Your baggage unattended

**Can we find our way back to each other?**  What does it take for us to come together, to find one another again as a family?  The *there* and the *here* have shaped us — but in different ways. There are words we cannot seem to find.  Where does the letting go begin? The letting go of all that has shaped us.  Where do we meet? Honestly. Authentically.  A constant longing stays with us. But whether we are brave enough to follow it remains uncertain. 

Set Design and Art Direction by Omar Sherif

The set design translates fragmented family communication into a spatial system of layers, thresholds and shifting sightlines. Suspended thread curtains create porous boundaries, dividing the stage into interconnected zones while maintaining visual continuity between the characters. Following the depth of the room, the curtains establish successive layers that constantly shift perceptions of distance, proximity and presence. The architecture reflects the family’s relationship: fragmented yet interconnected, separated yet held within the same spatial field.
