STUDIO MAREN IS A CROSS CULTURE CREATIVE STUDIO THAT DOES SET DESIGN, CREATIVE DIRECTION AND EXHIBITION/ INSTALLATION DESIGN ACROSS
FASHION, ACTIVATIONS, EXHIBITION/ INSTALLATION AND PERFORMANCE.
Studio Maren approaches space as a narrative medium. Working across fashion, performance, and exhibition contexts, the studio develops immersive environments shaped through collaboration, material experimentation, and cross-cultural perspectives.
Moving between Europe and the SWANA region, Studio Maren creates spatial experiences that connect storytelling, identity, and collective encounter.

Jad Mady
— Co-Founder / Spatial Designer & Art Director
Jad Mady is a Lebanese set designer and art director based in Berlin. Working across fashion, film, and live performance, his practice develops immersive spatial environments shaped through bold visual languages, color, and unconventional forms.
Trained in architecture and stage design, His work spans theatre productions, fashion sets, installations, and cultural events, moving between commercial productions and experimental contexts.
Having worked between Beirut, Rome, Milan, and Berlin, his practice reflects cross-cultural influences and strong connections to queer artistic communities, creating environments that explore identity, collective experience, and performative space.

Omar Sherif
— Co-Founder / Spatial Designer & Art Director
Omar Sherif is an Egyptian set designer and spatial artist based in Berlin. Working across scenography, installation, and moving image, his practice approaches space as a narrative medium, shaping environments that merge storytelling, performance, and visual culture.
Trained in set and stage design between Cairo and Berlin, Sherif collaborates across fashion, cultural events, exhibitions, and film productions. His work moves between artistic experimentation and commercial production, informed by diasporic perspectives and an ongoing interest in memory, identity, and collective experience.
