The Portrait

Ceren Samer is a Berlin-based Photographer, their work that won the prize of Neukolln Art Prize documenting the queer migrant communities in Berlin. 

Studio Role: Set Design & Art Direction

A single portrait is fragmented and suspended in space, unfolding across layers of translucent surfaces. Variations in distance, depth and overlap alter how the image is perceived, creating a portrait that is continuously shifting between fragmentation and wholeness.
